To start off, do you have a Facebook Business Manager account?
If you don’t, you’ll need to create one - follow this link and follow the setup process to create a Facebook Business Manager account.

1) Once you have access to your Facebook Business Manager, head to Facebook’s domain verification page (link).
Here, add a new domain (Click the blue “Add” button) and enter your Etsy shop URL in this format, shopname.etsy.com.

P.S: Your shop may be in the format -- etsy.com/shop/shopname -- simply take the “shopname” part of the link & add “.etsy.com” to it.
Resulting in -- shopname.etsy.com.

2) After adding a domain, head to the “Meta-Tag Verification” tab. You’ll see a piece of code looking like this (refer screenshot below*):

<meta name="facebook-domain-verification" content="abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz1234" />

Select and copy the alphanumeric phrase toward the end, highlighted above. This is your domain verification code.

*Look at the red box -- that’s the code you want to copy. Make sure that you DO NOT include the quotation marks around this code.

3) Once you’ve copied the alphanumeric code, paste this code into Etsy’s Facebook Shop Domain Verification Page - link to Domain Verification Page. Click “Verify” on this page to complete this step.

Now head back to Facebook’s Domain page and click on the green “Verify” button here.

That’s it!
